All communication is done online (through email, or via the phone/a video call, whichever you prefer). This makes coaching accessible to all runners, no matter where you physically reside.

About Your Running Coach: Bethany

Bethany is a half marathon enthusiast who got into running “later in life”.

Through her own trials and errors, she realized that “newbie” runners don’t have many places to turn for accurate (or personalized) guidance.

The internet has tons of information, but it can be overwhelming (and sometimes downright wrong). 

Ever wonder: What running advice applies to me and my goal?

Bethany certainly did!

That’s why she became an RRCA-certified running coach – to offer personal running advice and training plans to everyone, regardless of geographical location or past running experience (or lack thereof).

Bethany believes in:

  • A step-by-step approach to running. By taking it one bite-sized goal at a time, you’ll crank through your running goals and see great success!
  • Balance. Life happens, and no 1 run will make or break you. Every plan is built with a little wiggle room in case life gets in the way.
  • Fun. If you don’t enjoy running, then why do it? 🙂 Sure, training can be mentally and physically tough, but at the end of the day, you want to enjoy your sport. If you’re not, we’ll troubleshoot that together, and find a plan of attack to bring the fun and joy back into running for you!
  • Consistent Evaluation. How did this week go? How are you tracking to your goal? Does anything need to be adjusted? As mentioned before, there are no cookie-cutter plans here, just custom, personalized training plans to fit you and your progress perfectly.
  • Knowledge is Power. Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know, and that’s where a running coach comes in handy! Get tips and tricks to supplement your training so you’re gaining knowledge as well as experience.
